Bafta-nominated duo Toby Jones and Gemma Jones are being reunited in another BBC drama after their critically-acclaimed turn in Marvellous.
The pair, who played mother and son in Marvellous, will appear in Capital - a state of the nation drama based in a single street in south London.
Toby Jones, nominated for the best actor award at the TV Baftas, will play a greedy investment banker in the show based on John Lanchester's novel and written by Peter Bowker who penned Marvellous.
He said: "Obviously I am thrilled to be part of such a fantastic, diverse and talented cast, and also I'm excited to renew my working relationship with Pete Bowker."
Gemma Jones, nominated for the supporting actress award for her role in Marvellous, is joined in the cast by Scott And Bailey star Lesley Sharp.
Capital follows the lives of families in a modest suburban street whose homes have been transformed into multi-million pound properties by London's soaring housing market and then find themselves the target of an anonymous hate campaign.
