Margot Robbie misses the mark with prairie dress, wet look hair and yellow eyeshadow
Margot Robbie is one of the most bankable actresses in Hollywood, with a promising career and impeccable red carpet style to match. The Australian actress (27) missed the mark at tonight's world premiere of Goodbye, Christopher Robin in London, starting with her prairie style gown.
Her new shoulder length bob was styled into a nearly-impossible-to-pull-off wet look style, but the true pièce de résistance of this look is the bright yellow eyeshadow. Not just a subtle slick to inject some colour into a month long promotional tour, but the entire lid of her eye.
Margot plays the mother of the titular Christopher Robin, a new type of origin story focusing on the relationship between AA Milne (played by Domhnall Gleeson) and his son, who inspired his legendary Winnie The Pooh books, set in the 1920s.
"Daphne is a very complicated woman, especially when you look at her through modern eyes. I didn’t want to shy away from any of her faults. And the script had this magical quality that captivated me. We found ways to embrace her character without making her a villain," Margot told the Telegraph of her role.
At least the makeup is better.
