Loving the single life: Ex-Tallafornia star Kelly Donegan too busy for a relationship
She’s single and loving life. Ex-Tallafornia star Kelly Donegan has swapped boyfriends for body fitness lately and now has little time for romance.
The Assets model and her TV3 reality co-star Dave Behan went their separate ways last year after nearly two years together.
Although Dave has gone on to enjoy a relationship with panto queen Leanne Moore, 24-year-old Kelly told the Diary the last thing she’s been thinking about is jumping back into the dating scene.
“I’m horrifically single, but I’ve been single for more than eight months now and I’m very happy,” she insisted.
“I’ve found my independence again and I’m content with myself.
“I reckon I will be for the foreseeable future too because I’m actually enjoying it too much and getting too much done in life.”
Instead, the brunette is focusing her time on her health and fitness blog, which has become a massive success for the beauty in recent months.
“I’m really busy with it at the moment – it’s just something that happened but now it’s taken over and I’m getting so into it, I love it,” she said.
“It has exploded quite a bit because it now has thousands of readers and to say that now after only starting in November is pretty good. “
Unlike her model peers who post daily updates of their culinary efforts in the kitchen, Kelly’s Bikini Brawn aims to provide an all-round guide to being in the best mental and physical shape you can be in.

“A lot of people are blogging, but they mostly just talk about food. This is a bit of everything, including motivation and fashion. It’s not only about looking good, it’s about taking care of yourself; that has really come to the forefront for people lately I’ve noticed.
“I always liked modelling and enjoy it, but I’ve always been very competitive in some ways too – so sports and fitness is right up my alley.”
Even though she shares her slimming secrets with fans on a regular basis, Kelly said personal training is a serious no-no for her.
“I would consider myself as someone who has strong willpower, with a really strict diet, and at least with the blog I can just point them in the right direction and it’s up to them whether they want to go through with it or not.
“I wouldn’t like to make people train. I prefer to just give my opinion, with personality.”
