Louise Duffy and Paul Galvin to spend Christmas apart, just days before their NYE wedding
This festive period is set to be a special one for radio star Louise Duffy and her sporting fiancé Paul Galvin as they get ready to say 'I Do' on New Year's Eve.
However, it won't be all kisses under the mistletoe for the pair as Louise said that the couple will be spending this Christmas apart.
"I will be in Mayo and he will be in Kerry so we won't be together for it," the Today FM presenter told the Diary.
"We both really love being with our families on the day so that is just how it worked out and it's fine."
The striking brunette will wed her long-term flame and Kerry GAA legend Paul Galvin in front of her family and close friends on December 31.
And the Dublin-based presenter, who will be busy working right up until Christmas Eve said she grabs any opportunity to return home.
"I'm too old for presents so getting home for Christmas is the best thing for me," she laughed. "I have a huge family and we have cousins coming home from Australia and we will all be together from Christmas Eve through to Stephen's Day."
But one gift Louise is hoping to find in her Christmas stocking this year is the radio station's charity album 'Whole Lotta Love', which was released in aid of The Irish Cancer Sociey.
