New mother Chelsea Clinton seems to have taken some inspiration from Kate Middleton.
The former First Daughter gave birth to her little girl Charlotte on Friday, and last night greeted the world's press with her husband Marc Mezvinksy and parents, Former Sectary of State Hilary Clinton and former US President Bill Clinton.
The famous family left Lenox Hill Hospital to hordes of press and Chelsea seems to have taken a page out of the Duchess' book, opting for a beautiful shift dress, similar to the Jenny Packham design worn by Kate after giving birth to Prince George in July of last year.
Clinton was beaming from ear to ear as she proudly showed off the new arrival.
She announced the news via social media, saying: "Marc and I are full of love, awe and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky."
During an event with former President George W Bush earlier this month, Mr Clinton's mobile phone rang on stage and he joked that only two people had the number "and they are related to me", musing that he hoped he wasn't becoming "a premature grandfather".
"Every day I get up and I say: 'You have to remember whose child this is. Do not interfere. Be there when you are welcome. Be loving but not judgemental," Mr Clinton said to laughs in an interview with CNN at his annual Clinton Global Initiative, only days before the baby's arrival.
Even US President Barack Obama got in on the act. Addressing the annual Clinton confab, Obama quipped if Chelsea Clinton went into labour during his speech, "she has my motorcade and will be able to navigate traffic".
