Lindsay Lohan pokes fun at herself in Super Bowl Esurance advert
Lindsay Lohan poked fun at her criminal driving record in a Super Bowl Esurance advert.
The 28-year-old actress has been prosecuted twice in the past for driving under the influence and she is still on probation for reckless driving and providing false information to a police officer after being involved in a car accident in June 2012.
And during a Super Bowl XLIX commercial break, Lindsay starred in a hilarious advert for car insurance company Esurance.
The 40-second piece sees the Mean Girls star screeching up the to curb of an elementary school in a damaged minivan. After running over a safety cone and hitting a school bus, she rolls her window down and speaks to two schoolchildren, with one of the kids noting, “Your mom’s a terrible driver”.
“Get in,” she tells the kids. When the children refused to jump in, the sound of police sirens emerge in the background and Lindsay speeds off.
The star seems to be enjoying Super Bowl weekend so far, despite contracting untreatable mosquito-borne virus Chikungunya.
It’s claimed Lindsay isn’t concerned over health woes, instead choosing to focus on having fun.
“Lindsay is headed to Phoenix, Arizona to partake in the Super Bowl festivities this coming Sunday,” a source told Radar Online.
TMZ recently reported Lindsay completed 280 court-ordered community service hours stemming from her 2012 reckless driving case.
A hearing meant to analyse Lindsay’s community service completion is set for February 18. And should the judge find she did not in fact complete her court-ordered hours, she could be sentenced to jail.
