Expectant mum Aoibhin Garrihy showed off her baby bump after heading off for a babymoon in the Canaries with her hotel manager husband John Burke.

The actress and Dancing With The Stars finalist is a enjoying a few days of some well-needed rest and relaxation.

The 31-year-old looked stunning as she showed off her bump in a stripy black-and-white one-piece, which she teamed with a floppy hat as she shielded her fair skin from the sun.

"A combination of bread and bump! Happy holidays," she captioned the picture.

As well as enjoying the sunshine, Aoibhin and her mountain-climbing hubby have been keeping active on their holiday, enjoying some sea-kayaking and snorkelling as they make the most of their time away.

However, the former Fair City star is due back this week as she's scheduled for an appearance on TV3's Ireland AM.

She announced her baby news just before Christmastime when she joked that a glass of sparkling water contained the only bubbles she'd be drinking for a while.

While she said she suffered from crippling morning sickness at the start, she's feeling much better now that she's in her second trimester and isn't letting her pregnancy get in the way of doing things.

"I'm feeling good. I had a miserable few months but it's all part of it, isn't it? It will all be worth it in the end," she said.

"It's great. I'm kind of at the stage where I'm just enjoying it now. The bump isn't getting in the way and I feel good."

Aoibhin and John are due to welcome their new arrival in June. The mum-to-be said she has set her heart on an Irish name, in keeping with family tradition.
