Lea Michele glows at her book launch as year anniversary of Cory Monteith’s death approaches
It's been a tough 12 months for her – but it didn’t show as Lea Michele launched her new book.
The ‘Glee’ actress appeared at a signing for new book ‘Brunette Ambition’ in Los Angeles last night.
It’s just two months until the year anniversary of boyfriend Cory’s death – however it appears Lea is finally turning a corner.
She sparked concerns among fans earlier this year about her health , after appearing to drop a substantial amount of weight.
However the star was glowing at her book signing – a healthy looking Lea smiled and joked around for the cameras.
She also opened up about the writing process – revealing Cory even helped her edit the first draft of the book.
She revealed that he advised her to tone down a chapter about one of her friends coming out to her – as he advised it was something deeply personal.
Although she did not answer any questions about a reported feud with ‘Glee’ co-star Naya Rivera, she did say she wished she could have been more candid about the show.
The show is finishing next year – however Lea was obviously conscious that she had a year to go so didn’t go into detail on any on-set tensions.
Rivera was axed from the show earlier this year, just weeks after a reported altercation with Lea.
She coyly revealed during an interview at the signing: “I do wish I could have gotten a little bit deeper in the Glee chapter… there's so much that I wanted to talk about it”
