Laura Whitmore says trolls told her to 'go back to your own country' after hearing Irish accent
Laura Whitmore said online trolls told her to "Go back to your own country" when she started presenting I'm A Celebrity's spin-off show.
The I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now! presenter said she has learned to deal with trolls over the years.
"You have to take things with a pinch of salt. It does help talking to people because things get you down," she said.
"When I first started on I'm A Celeb, because I had an Irish accent, people were saying horrible things like 'Go back to your own country'.
"But these people are hiding behind a computer screen. And then you have people telling you you're the best thing since sliced bread, you're amazing, which you're not either," she told Irish Tatler.
