The Kardashian Jenners have built their empire via social media but it seems Kylie (18) may be taking it too far.

TMZ reports that police have warned the reality TV star to be careful of revealing details about her life and whereabouts on social media.

The advice comes in the wake of a stalker attempting to gain access to her home at least 10 times.

The stalker was arrested at her €2.7m Calabasas home on December 26 and is now being held in a psychiatric unit, although he will be released soon.

Police have advised her to obtain a restraining order against him.

The star does not seem too perturbed, however, as this weekend she gave fans access to her home via her website TheKylieJenner.com, treating them to a virtual tour.

She revealed the home's five bedrooms, kitchen, outdoor pool, home theatre, glam room, bedroom, sitting room, and shoe closet.

It's not the first time the family has been targeted by stalkers.  Last year momager Kris was targeted by a fan who reportedly called her 300 times a day.

She also hired armed guards to protect the family after a stalker broke into her house last month.
