Kylie Jenner launches anti-bullying campaign on Instagram
#IAmMoreThan aims to combat bullying worldwide
Kylie Jenner is using her superfame to start a global anti-bullying campaign.
Jenner, who is the eighth most-followed star on Instagram with 34.8 million followers, is using that influence to start a new worldwide trend with the hashtag #IAmMoreThan.
The campaign aims to combat bullying and was inspired by the teenager's own experiences of bullying, which she spoke about on popular app Snapchat.
"I've been bullied since I was nine... from the whole world, it feels like sometimes".
Jenner is sharing stories of people "who have become heroes in their own way by taking bullying and turning it into something positive" on her Instagram account and encouraging others to share their story with the hashtag.
Among those profiled so far are Gigi Crouch, a ballet dancer who was diagnosed with Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, Lizzie Velasquez, who was bullied online after a YouTube video entitled 'World's Ugliest Woman?' was viewed over four million times and Em Ford, who went viral earlier this year with her video cataloging the mean comments people left about her adult acne.
Join the campaign by posting on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #IAmMoreThan.
