Kris Humphries apologises for 'vague' tweet about Bruce Jenner
Kris Humphries has apologised for a tweet he sent following Bruce Jenner's interview with Diane Sawyer which appeared to be unsupportive.
Jenner revealed to Sawyer that he is a woman, has always felt that way since he was a child, and will live as a woman from now on.
Following the broadcast, Kris Humphries who was briefly married to Jenner's step-daughter Kim Kardashian, tweeted, "Man, I'm glad I got out when I did #gottadoyou".
The tweet drew criticism for being unsupportive. However, Kris today took to Twitter again to apologise and clarify.
"I have and always will support Bruce hence #Gottadoyou. Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way this came across," he wrote.
He then posted, "FullySupportBruce."
The response to Bruce's interview has been overwhelmingly positive with his family taking to social media in the hours after the broadcast to voice their love and support.
It was also announced that Bruce will take part in a six part documentary series of E! charting his transition, broadcasting from July 26.What we learned as Bruce Jenner's last interview as a man on American TV
