Jessica Chastain is all about the motto of “women support women”.

On International Women’s Day, the Hollywood actress donated $2,000 (€1,630) to a couple who have been struggling with fertility issues and are crowdfunding to be able to get fertility treatments.

The woman involved, Karin Schulz, wrote about her struggle with infertility on the GoFundMe website and appealed to people to help her out with the treatment.

Along with the donation, Chastain left the comment: "You'll be wonderful parents who teach love by example. Someday you'll hold your baby. Don't give up.”

Chastain became aware of Schulz and her husband's story after Schulz criticised her for being pro-choice in an Instagram comment.

She commented under a picture posted by Chastain, in which her t-shirt read “We should all be feminists.”

The caption read: FEMINISM: the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes #happy international women's day @renatocampora.'

But Schulz wrote: 'Yes feminist that believe in God and stand up for The Unborn,' she wrote. 'I would be for that kind of feminist.'

Not ignoring it, Chastain responded with a comment of her own :

“'Yes you can decide what is right for you. I am pro-choice and I believe that everyone has the right to make their own decision.'

She then proceeded to make a donation to Schulz’s campaign.

Karen has showed her appreciation for Jessica’s kindness, and the story has now come full circle, with both women posting messages of support on the other’s social media.
