Kim Kardashian calls 'bulls***' on Taylor Swift's 'lies': 'It's another way to play the victim'
Kim Kardashian has reignited her feud with Taylor Swift after her famous GQ interview slamming the singer.
It all started when Kanye West released his song Famous, with the lyrics, "I feel like me and Taylor still might have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous" in January.
Taylor reacted with horror, even addressing the song in her Grammy acceptance speech for Album of The Year, saying: "As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I wanna say to all the young women out there that there are going to be people along the way who try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame."
Then, Kim did a GQ interview in June stating that the singer knew all along and claims Kanye even called to get her approval beforehand. She simply grew tired of the backlash against her husband and decided to set the record straight.
Swift denied any previous knowledge, but Kim claims there's a recording of her giving the approval as the conversation was filmed for her family reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
After the storm died out, E! has released a new clip for the next episode where she tells sister Kourtney why she decided to speak out.
"I never talk s**t about anyone publicly, especially in interviews. But I was just like I had so had it.
"I just felt like I wanted to defend him in it because it's like, she legitimately quote says, ‘As soon as I get on that Grammy red carpet I'm gonna tell all the press. Like I was in on it.'"
"And you know just another way to play the victim. It definitely got her a lot of attention the first time."
The mother-of-two, who has been married to the rapper for two years, said she wanted to defend her husband to thank him for "having her back" when they first started dating.
"At this point, I really don't give a f**k so I'll do whatever to protect my husband."
