British reality TV star Katie Price says she has been left 'traumatised' after she and two of her children were the victims of a carjacking in South Africa.

Their mobile phones, laptops, passports and money were all stolen in the incident last Thursday, the Sun newspaper reports.

Price (39) said feared for her life and those of her two children Princess (10) and Junior (12).

The family were in South Africa to film scenes for Price’s programme My Crazy Life.

They were driving down a busy highway, the N17, in darkness when Junior needed a toilet stop.

The incident occurred when the family’s convoy of two vehicles pulled onto the hard shoulder near the town of Chrissiesmeer in Mpumalanga province.

According to police, the attackers were unarmed but launched a vicious attack on the group, leaving one of the guards unconscious.

Three people in Ms Price's car had to be rushed to hospital, and one of her minders suffered a black eye in the incident.

“Katie was terrified and frantically worried for her little ones. This was a horrific ordeal... every mum's worst nightmare,” a source told the Sun.
