Kathryn Thomas: Saying 'No' is my New Year's resolution
Presenter Kathryn Thomas has revealed that her top resolution for 2015 is to say 'no' more often.
The blonde beauty is run off her feet presenting Operation Transformation, The Voice of Ireland as well as regularly filling in for John Murray on his Radio 1 show. And now she says it's time to take stock.
"My New Year's resolution is to say 'no' more," she admitted.
"I've just found that I'm running from A to B all the time and I'm not giving 100pc in the way that I should be to any one thing."
The 35-year-old will have a hectic start to the New Year as she will be presenting the New Year's Eve countdown coverage on RTE.
"I'm doing the New Year's Eve show on College Green with Paddy McKenna and I'm really looking forward to it, especially as my sister is home from Los Angeles and she and the rest of my family are going to come along on the night," she said.
"My other brother is living in the Isle of Man and my youngest brother is kipping in my house at the moment, so they'll all be there and I love that.
Kathryn (right) is known for being a fitness fanatic and admits her toughest challenge yet was climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
"The most difficult thing I've probably ever done was climbing Kilimanjaro.
"I think I was a bit smug going into it, thinking I had travelled and camped in tents loads of times and this would be easy.
"So I went off with very little training, and was great for the first three days and then on summit day, altitude sickness hit me like a train and I wasn't prepared for it.
"I got to the very end but it was so difficult, I don't even really remember it."
With Operation Transformation starting soon on RTE 1, Kathryn also has fitness goals for the year ahead.
"I was disappointed I couldn't do the full marathon this year so that's on the cards next year," she said.
