Kate Middleton recruits parents Carole and Michael as caretakers of royal Norfolk estate
Kate Middleton is keeping the royal estate in the family.
The Duchess of Cambridge has reportedly recruited her parents Carole and Michael to assist her in running Amner Hall, Norfolk.
She and Prince William moved to the palatial estate in 2011 after Queen Elizabeth gifted them with the property after their wedding. They've been assisted by husband and wife Amy and Colin Wood since they purchased the home, but the duo have now moved on.
Her mother Carole has taken to running the household from her wing, while her father Michael is responsible for the gardening.
It's reported that Prince George's grandparents will be staying with the young royals until Kate gives birth next month, according to the Daily Express.
After George was born, Kate moved in with her parents, but Carole and Michael will be swapping arrangements this time around.
“William is very happy to sit back and let Carole take up the reins. She is ensuring that Anmer runs like clockwork," a source told the newspaper.
