Kate Middleton gave some life-changing advice to this 15-year-old student
A 15-year-old has revealed the advice that Kate Middleton shared with her that will "stay with me for the rest of my life".
The Duchess of Cambridge visited Stewards Academy in Harlow, Essex on Friday and now, one of the students who nabbed one-on-one time with her has shared their discussion.
Hannah, who made a speech in front of Kate and husband Prince William welcoming them to the school, told People she was grateful to chat with the British royal.
"The princess said to me that I should always keep performing and I should never give up on my dreams," she said.
"That is going to stay with me for the rest of my life."
The royal couple were in Essex as part of the ongoing efforts of their Heads Together campaign, finding out how young people are coping with life's pressures.
Similarly, 12-year-old Klaudia echoed the sentiments, saying: "It was amazing meeting [the royals]. They said to keep doing what we're doing and not give up and not listen to what other people say."
She said their visit will help "a lot of people open their eyes to the fact that if you do feel worried and scared it's not unusual, and it's okay to talk about. They said it's important because one day their children are going to school. They thought it's important for them, so it should be important to everyone."
Meanwhile, William also told the students about being parents to Prince George (three) and Princess Charlotte (one).
"The sleepless nights and all that is just fine. It's all the other stuff we now have to start worrying about," he said.
