I'm A Celebrity winner Vicky Pattison says she has been exchanging "soppy" messages with former campmate Spencer Matthews.

Geordie Shore star Pattison and Made In Chelsea's Matthews entered the jungle together as late entrants and immediately began flirting - but Matthews was forced to leave after show bosses found out he had been taking steroids.

Speaking on ITV's Loose Women, Pattison said: "Basically I had no clue what had gone on with Spencer. You're kept very much in the dark when you're in there. I was dying to find out because I did feel as though I had a little bit of chemistry with him."

She revealed she logged on to Twitter after the show to find a direct message waiting from Matthews: "He basically said that he was gutted and he was going to be watching and rooting for us, and he wanted us to win."

She added: "We have been messaging and things, and it has been really nice, and we've said some really quite soppy things to each other."

On whether they had plans to meet up, she said: "Well, I think Spencer's got a lot of stuff that he needs to deal with and a lot of stuff to occupy his time. I'm assuming I should give him some space to do that."

Pattison has previously spoken about her desire to change her behaviour and image after her partying days on Geordie Shore - which also saw her have sex on TV.

Despite her reputation , Pattison won over I'm A Celebrity viewers who voted her Queen of the Jungle.

She said: "I have always been this person deep down, but I've been in some mischiefs on the way."

On Geordie Shore and her behaviour on the show, she said: "You feel the pressure. It's dead easy to do, no matter how strong you are, how intelligent ... to follow the pack. I became essentially a caricature of myself."

"You can't be a good grown-up and adult without making mistakes when you're younger," she added, reassuring the Loose Women panel: "Don't worry, no more sex on TV!"

Pattison, 28, said she turned to therapy after she attacked two people in a nightclub. She was spared jail in 2014.

"I do not like how I act when I've had too much to drink and I'm in a situation I can't control," she said, adding that therapy had helped her prepare for I'm A Celebrity.

Pattison also dismissed the idea that anyone was "bullying" anyone on the show.

"To me, if you're big enough to dish it out, you're big enough to take it. So if they are two consenting adults, standing there old enough to know better, rowing with one other like kids - it's not bullying, it's just a pathetic argument if you ask me," she said.

Pattison told the Loose Women that she wanted to make a surprise announcement, and then revealed her ambitions for a new chat show.

She said: "You ladies have inspired me. I want to do something similar but late at night so I can swear, called Loose Lasses. I think it will be just like youse, but a bit sassier."
