Joanna Cooper debuts chic new look as she and Conor Murray support Rory Best in Belfast
Irish rugby star Conor Murray and girlfriend Joanna Cooper were the picture of happiness as they stepped out to support Rory Best in Belfast.
Cooper, a former Miss Universe Ireland who hails from Derry, and Murray, who is currently out of action with Munster due to a neck injury, made their first official public appearance together over the weekend as they were among the esteemed guests to witness Murray's Ireland teammate Best being honoured with the Freedom of the Borough of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon.
And Joanna, who is now based in London working full-time as a model, debuted a sleek new bob she as she posed to perfection in a green dress with thigh high slit and black heels emblazoned with spikes, while her other half opted for a more casual look with black chinos, a grey blazer and loafers.
After their relationship was made public earlier this year, Joanna revealed that the two divide their time between London, Limerick and Dublin for their respective jobs. "I do come home a good bit, it's like an hour flight so it's fine. But I don't know if I see myself moving back. Definitely not to Derry anyway," she said in May.
"I see him. We come over and back."
Paddy Wallace and girlfriend Sarah Moore were also among the guests in attendance, as was Chris Henry and Andrew and Anna Trimble. It was a family affair for Best as his wife Jodie sat centre stage for the ceremony, with their three children - Ben, Penny and Richie.
