Jennifer Aniston dishes on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie: 'Nobody did anything wrong'
After a decade of their 'love triangle' playing out in the tabloids, the Cake actress has broken her silence about her ex-husband's romance with Angelina Jolie, after they first met on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith ten years ago.
But Jennifer has spent the first month of January dispelling rumours of any long-term rift and even said that everyone is human and she holds no grudge.
"We're not in daily communication," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "But we wish nothing but wonderful things for each other. Nobody did anything wrong. You know what I mean? It was just like, sometimes things [happen].
"If the world only could just stop with the stupid, soap-opera bullshit. There's no story. I mean, at this point it's starting to become — please, give more credit to these human beings."
The normally private star has been more candid about her personal life in recent weeks and even attended the same event as Angelina last week, for the first time in six years.
"There are people in my life that are like, 'How do you even talk to that guy?' But what's the point of holding on to [anger]? That's so toxic. We're human beings. Human beings make mistakes. Human beings are not perfect. And by not forgiving someone, it's not allowing human beings to evolve and become better people."
In the interview, the Friends starlet also reveals she suffers from dyslexia and shrugs off her Oscar snub for her groundbreaking role in the indie film, Cake.
"I thought I wasn't smart. I just couldn't retain anything," she said. "Now I had this great discovery. I felt like all of my childhood trauma-dies, tragedies, dramas were explained.
