Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has opened up about her battle with anxiety.
The British beauty has fronted campaigns for the likes of Burberry and Victoria’s Secret, as well as being the face of her own lingerie line for high street retailer Marks & Spencer.
Despite her immense success, Rosie has suffered with anxiety attacks, but says they are a thing of the past now.
“It's a horrible feeling,' Rosie told Elle UK. “There was one particular time when I had terrible anxiety attacks. But I got through it. Those rough patches are always times you can look back on and in hindsight, you can be quite proud of...
"It gives you a deeper understanding of yourself. Each year, that understanding gives me so much more. It's true what they say: you get more confident, and grounded, and just weed out the bulls**t.”
Rosie looks set for another great year in 2017, which starts with the launch of her activewear line for Marks & Spencer. Keeping fit is a big part of the 29-year-old’s life, and she works out five to six times a week.
Don’t expect her to take her movie hardman fiance Jason Statham along to the gym with her though. Despite Jason’s own impressive physique, Rosie prefers to fly solo when she’s working up a sweat.
“Going to the gym is my time, I don't want to be distracted and don't want to be goofing around,” she stated. “It's a time when I feel I need to be focused on myself because it's like a form of meditation.
“I don't like to be told what to do by my other half. If he's like, ‘Do another squat,’ I'm like ‘No! You get down and do another f**king squat.'”
