Introducing Sophia Smith, 1D’s Liam Payne’s stylish girlfriend
One Direction member Liam Payne and his other half Sophia Smith looked loved up at a charity event last night. Here’s what you need to know about the brunette beauty.
The couple stepped out for the star studded Great Gatsby Charity Ball in London last night, alongside Liam’s bandmates Niall Horan and newly single Louis Tomlinson.
Liam looked dapper in a powder blue suit, while Sophia dazzled on his arm in an embellished dress by Patricia Bonaldi.
The pretty 21-year-old turned heads in the lilac gown, which featured a mesh fishtail skirt and intricate beading. She also added a soft grey faux fur stole to finish off the look.
Sophia currently studies fashion design, and has been dating Liam since 2013. The pair met when they were at school together in St Peter’s Meanwhile, Mullingar native Niall Horan has been linked to former Miss Great Britain Amy Willerton, who shot to fame as Katie Price's former protege.
The Irish singer reportedly enjoyed a string of secret dates wtih the 22-year-old beauty queen over Christmas. He has previously been linked to Irish models Zoe Whelan and Thalia Heffernan, and Victoria's Secret stunner Barbara Palvin.
