'I'll strangle you with your mouse' - Brian McFadden launches foul-mouthed attack on Twitter user
Brian McFadden launched a foul-mouthed attack on Twitter on Wednesday night when a user poked fun at his career.
Kanye West wasn't the only celebrity who suffered a Twitter meltdown on Wednesday.
Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden posted a photo online of him taking part in Channel 4's new sports-themed show The Jump, captioning it: “This year @TheJumpC4 has gone to new heights!” to which a follower responded: “Unlike your career hey?!"
The Dubliner didn't take kindly to the mean-spirited tweet and warned the user: “Shut your face c***!” before adding “Or I’ll find IP address find out where you live and strangle you with your f*****g mouse.”
Another user replied to his first aggressive tweet writing: “I’d be angry to, if I had to resort to dreadful reality TV to make a living!”
McFadden was again maddened by the insults he received and hit back: “As angry as you working in Tesco and shopping at lidl?”
The tweets have since been deleted.
This isn't the first time the Artane man has let his emotions get the better of him on the social media platform.
In 2010, he taunted his ex-wife Kerry Katona, responding to accusations he isn't a good father to their two children.
In a series of misspelled tweets, the former Westlife singer suggested Katona "take bowl of mayonaise drenched chips out of your face and look in the mirror!"
At the time, McFadden was dating Australian singer and former Neighbours star Deltra Goodrem.
"...and i cant keep it anymore.... its killing me and my beautiful fiance and mum and dad and my friends. ENOUGH." he continued.
"a certainj pig faced mole has suggested my own daughter lilly doesn't know me and that i never speak to my kids..
"'FACT I call my girls at least twice a week and have a beautiful relationship with my daughters..."
Independent.ie has reached out to Brian McFadden's management team for a comment but they have yet to respond.
