'I'd love to have a girl,' says Claudine Keane on expanding her family with husband Robbie
She's a great mum to Robert (7) and baby Hudson, but Claudine Keane would love to add a little girl to her family.
The model wife of footballer Robbie Keane said that she would love to have a girl to share her style wisdom with - although all she really wants is a healthy baby.
"I definitely see more children for me. I love kids," she told the Herald.
"It goes without saying that I would love to have a girl.
"When you're in hospital, all you want is a healthy baby. Everything else goes out the window. Of course, if I could have a girl as well it would be lovely. I have too many shoes not to!"
The former Miss Ireland contestant said she had already noticed a difference in personality between Robert and seven-month-old Hudson.
"There is definitely a different personality. Robert is his dad all over. He tries to push the boundaries, he is a rascal," she said.
"He loves Hudson but I can see the odd little pinch here and there but behind it all, he's looking out for him."
The blonde's eldest son is good pals with the children of David and Victoria Beckham. Robbie has previously been spotted with David at LA Lakers Games with their sons.
"Robert would be friendly with them. We came over when Robert was two and Cruz was five, so those two connected.
"When we're at the Lakers games, they all hang out. Kids are kids and they are such well-mannered, lovely children.
"I really can't say enough about them, they have been brought up so well."
While many working mums struggle to find a balance between raising their children and having a successful career, for Claudine the kids are always the top priority.
"My kids always come first and everything else I do is totally separate to that," she said.
"I went to university for four years and I love to keep up and be independent.
"When I had children, it was my decision not to have a nanny and do everything myself."
With Robbie gearing up to hit the pitch for the Euros, the mum-of-two revealed she was looking forward to seeing the sights of Paris with her family.
"I am so excited, the bags are packed and ready to go. Robert is beyond excited. For him, this time around, he really appreciates it and understands it.
"He knows all the players and what positions they are in. I'm really excited for him.
"We have organised it so we can do everything together and tour around Paris. We've got plans to bring the kids to the Eiffel tower and the Mona Lisa, all the typical things."
Claudine was speaking at Spar's Better Choices Health and Wellbeing Initiative at the Dylan Hotel.
