Storm Keating said she "feels more comfortable in her skin" as a mother than she ever has before.
The Australian tv producer (37) welcomed her first child with husband in 2017 [he has three - Jack (10, Missy (17) and Ali (13) - from his previous marriage to Yvonne Connolly] and she has taken to motherhood with ease.
"Having a baby was the greatest blessing of my life," she gushed to WHO magazine over one-year-old Cooper.
"I had to have an emergency C-section and I look at my scar – and I know scars aren’t meant to be pretty - but I look at it with so much pride. My body’s changed, I’ve changed, our life has changed, but I think it’s just the greatest thing in the world."
Having seen what her body is capable of after birth, the fashion blogger said she has more respect and admiration for herself as a result.
“I probably feel more comfortable in my skin now than I did before,” she said. “I just feel a bit more like I go with it in life, there are so many more important things than focusing in on how you look, how you dress ... I’ve got this gorgeous little boy and the greatest husband in the world – I’m blessed. I’m not perfect, my body’s not perfect, but I’m pretty happy.”
Both said they "definitely would" like to have another baby together, but are still getting to grips with their little one and appreciating all of him.
"Right now, we’re really enjoying Cooper and his age. I don’t think we’d want to change anything with that but yeah, of course – please God – down the line," Ronan said.
Earlier this year, the Boyzone singer explained that Storm managed the family's busy schedule as the singer tours and ensuring they all have family time together and how he successfully co-parents with Yvonne.
“It wouldn’t be easy all the time — but you try for the children always to just remain calm and get through it," he told the Irish Sun.
“You’ve got to always remain in an adult state of mind so that you can deal with it. There’s times when I get very angry, very frustrated and you really have to bottle that, you’ve got to protect the children always."
He spoke about making sure the children are "the priority".
“Raising those children from separate places, two separate views . . . once that breaks down your opinions change and your version of events changes, so you have to be able to manage that and to make sure the children are the priority.”
