Holly Carpenter and Alannah Beirne lead the stylish mother/daughter duos at exclusive hair awards
Talk about model mothers.
Two of Ireland's top models Holly Carpenter and Alannah Beirne stood out from the crowd at the Great Lengths Awards 2017 as they were joined by their equally glamorous mothers.
Former Miss Ireland Holly (25), whose father Karl is a former model, is famously close with her mum Jane, whom she lives at home with and often features on her social media accounts.
And model-of-the-moment Alannah (22), who made it to the final three of the latest series of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model is also following in the family business as her mother Brenda Hyland was the Rose of Tralee in 1983 and now runs a successful etiquette school near their family home in Naas, Co Kildare.
"She's taught me how to walk, how to present myself and basically how to be a model," Alannah previously said.
The glamorous duos led the charge at the second annual awards ceremony at Fade Street Social, where VIP guests sipped on prosecco and enjoyed a three-course lunch as hair salons from around the country celebrated their work with hair extensions with Valerie Patterson from Dublin's Cowboys & Angels taking home the top gong for the Great Lengths Trophy in Extension Excellence.
