At seven months pregnant, Kate Middleton is sticking to exactly what works for her.

The Duchess of Cambridge is never one for experimentation with style, but is choosing some of her tried and tested looks during her third trimester of pregnancy. The 36-year-old opted for one of her favourite coats, an olive green military style coat by Dolce & Gabbana, finishing off her look with a pair of black block heels by Tod's.

She and husband Prince William were guests of honour in Sunderland today in order to visit The Fire Station, one of the city's most iconic buildings, which they will officially open with a celebration of music and dance from locals.

Kate's coat might look familiar to style stalkers - she first wore a burgundy version earlier this month during the royal tour of Norway and Sweden.

It's been a busy week for the expectant royal, she first attended the BAFTAs on Sunday night, causing a bit of a stir over her decision not to wear black in keeping with the dress code for the evening, instead choosing a green dress by Jenny Packham.

On Monday night, she and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex hosted a night of celebrating the British fashion industry at Buckingham Palace before London Fashion Week wrapped for another season.
