Guy Ritchie gushes over wife Jacqui Ainsley: 'There are some relationships that work as efficiently as a hand in a glove'
Guy Ritchie and his wife Jacqui Ainsley stepped out for a rare public appearance as they approach two years of marriage.
The director (48) and the former model (35) wed in August 2015 and stepped out in style as they marked Ritchie's return to the big screen in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword in Los Angeles.
Jacqui opted for an on trend pink gingham collared dress with a thick baby blue belt and a monogram 'blogger bag' by Yves Saint Laurent, while the Guy chose a similarly casual look and gushed over his harmonious relationship with his wife.
"[I'm] very happy. I spend a lot of time thinking about my wife," he told Entertainment Tonight. "It's a hand in a glove. We just don't argue, you know? She finishes my sentences, and understands what I'm thinking way before I'm thinking it.
"I think there are just some relationships that do work as efficiently as a hand in a glove. I'm lucky enough to be in that position."
The award-winning director has three children with his long-term partner - Rafael (five), Rivka (four) and Levi (two) - in addition to his sons Rocco (16) and David (nine).
And his eldest son, who now lives in London with him after a much-publicised custody battle with his ex-wife Madonna, is one of his most honest movie critics.
"It's probably awkward for a teenager to tell you exactly what they think of their parents' movies, but yeah, I mean, he took all his mates to go see it back in the U.K. And I take their feedback quite seriously," he added.
"The curious thing is about teenagers [is] they're not filtered. They don't think about the political consequences of saying they do like it or they don't like it.
"They're not thinking, 'Oh, you're actually the guy that's responsible for it,' so you do get a very unfiltered answer to whether they enjoyed it or not."
