Dublin footballer Eamon Fennell (30) is set to walk up the aisle with his girlfriend of three years after a romantic New York proposal.
The athlete turned businessman has been dating Fiona Creely (29) since 2011 and the loved-up couple committed to their future together when Eamon got down on bended knee on New Year's Eve in the Big Apple.
"She said yes. Going to marry the love of my life #engagement #love #NewYork #TimesSquare," Eamon shared on Twitter, alongside a photo of his new fiancee and her huge engagement ring.
Fennell enjoyed the spotlight in 2011 after Dublin beat Kerry to the All Ireland title and has dabbled with tv and appearances since. Before meeting Fiona, he famously appearing on TV3 dating show Take Me Out.
He is currently manning his business Sole Sister Flats, a compact shoe company for women, mainly distributed in nightclubs and bars.
