There's clearly no hard feelings between Rory McIlroy and his ex-girlfriend Holly Sweeney.

The former cheerleader (24) who welcomed her first child into the world earlier this month, was up and at 'em early this morning to see her former boyfriend of six years and Team Europe kick off the Ryder Cup.

Holly tweeted this morning she would be glued to the first day of the biennial golf tournament between Europe and America.

"Team Europe, that is all," she wrote.

After an acrimonious break-up in 2011, the pair seem to have buried the hatchet as she often tweets about McIlroy's golf game, as does her other half, hockey player Jeff Mason.

When news of Holly's pregnancy hit the headlines in June, Rory said he was thrilled for his ex.

"I'm happy for her," he said at the time. "You know, it’s great to see she’s happy – all good.”

Holly is no stranger to the Ryder Cup as she joined her then-boyfriend Rory there in 2010.

Meanwhile, the former reality star is basking in the bliss of becoming a first-time mother after welcoming son Max into the world two weeks ago.
