Gerald Kean denies reports of a reunion with Lisa Murphy: 'We remain friends, but we're not a couple'
Gerald Kean has denied reports that he has rekindled his romance with former fiancée Lisa Murphy.
The celebrity lawyer was quick to pour cold water on claims that he and the glamorous blonde socialite were back together again after being spotted having lunch together inn a Dublin restaurant recently.
"I can categorically say that Lisa and I are not together, we're not a couple," he told Independent.ie
"We remain friends, we go for drinks and lunch every now and again as we're on great terms but we're not in a relationship.
"I have the utmost respect for Lisa, which is why I have spoken out, but reports that we're back together are untrue."
He also disputed that they had broken up six times during the course of their romance.
"We were together nearly ten years and we only broke up twice during that whole time," he said.
The legal eagle added that both he and Lisa were still single and not dating anyone and "who knows what the future holds."
One of the best-known celebrity couples during the Celtic Tiger era, he and Lisa ended their romance a year and a half ago after deciding to part ways.
They previously lived together in his palatial home in Wicklow, Drayon Manor, which is currently up for sale for €3.75m as he looks for a new abode that's closer to his offices in south Dublin.
