From the catwalk to Cork: Supermodel Jodie Kidd jets to Ireland for low-key holiday
It looks like 2017 is shaping up to be a busy year for A-list Irish tourism.
Jodie Kidd (38), who retired from the runway in 2004, shunned a catch-up with celebrity pals in favour of a trip to an antique-inspired café in Cork.
She was pictured at The Workshop in Ballygarvan, happily posing for photos with the owners and fans, who admitted to being "star struck" at meeting the style icon.
"We are all a bit star struck, just had the beautiful Jodie Kidd in with us for lunch, she was absolutely lovely and very kindly posed for a photo with us," they shared on their Facebook page.
Kidd is no stranger to our shores and Cork seems to hold a special place in her heart - she supported pal Noel Gallagher during his Live at The Marquee performance in 2015 and joined punters partying at Goldberg's Bar, where she was pulling pints with the owners.
The blonde beauty was in town to shoot the latest campaign with Cork-based firm Green Lamb, an activewear brand for women, which she signed a partnership with Kidd in 2014.
It was only a flying visit though as Kidd is already back in her native London.
