Fresh Princes of Dubai: Rory left star-struck by Will Smith
He may be royalty on the golf course, but Irish sporting sensation Rory McIlroy has met his match on the fairways. The multi-millionaire golfer was left slightly star struck after a casual meeting with the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' Will Smith.
Film star Smith was out testing his golf swing while on a relaxing holiday in Dubai with his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. McIlroy is hard at work on his golf swing in the Emirates as he gears up for a busy year of tournaments.
Meeting the Hollywood star topped off a special week for the 24-year-old who days earlier announced his engagement to tennis ace Caroline Wozniacki.
A delighted McIlroy enjoyed a brief chat with the A-list actor before getting a snap.
"Met the fresh prince aka Will Smith today at the golf course," McIlroy told his 1.8 million followers on Twitter.
"Great guy and a good golf swing!"
While it is mostly work for McIlroy, 'Men in Black' star Smith was more than happy to soak up the sun in luxurious Dubai.
The sporting couple, whose on/off relationship has attracted huge attention, announced their engagement on their Twitter accounts last Tuesday, shortly after Rory went down on bended knee after the New Year's Eve fireworks in Sydney, Australia.
