Looks like the 'Fifty Shades' effect is catching on quick...

The film's leading man Jamie Dornan found himself in an little more than ironic position when he jetted into LAX airport yesterday.

Dressed casually in dark jeans, a plain white t-shirt and a dark blue hoodie, the Hollywood heart-throb (32) strolled through the busy airport by himself, carrying a single large suitcase.

Smiling modestly at the photographers, the Irish actor couldn’t help but exclaim when he saw a couple getting close on the wall outside the building.

Paparazzi followed him from the arrivals hall out to the car-park and captured his expression as the couple canoodled on the wall.

Meanwhile, Jamie recently slammed suggestions his wife protested his starring role in this hit flick ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’.

For several weeks, there were reports that his wife of two years, Amelia Warner, was uncomfortable with the raunchy nature of the films.

"Total boll***s!" he told the Daily Mail. "Of course she would have read the scripts well in advance, and she's massively supportive of Fifty Shades."

Dornan also said that the intention from the beginning was to create three films to honour the book trilogy, written by E L James.

"The idea was that we honor the trilogy and do all three," he explained.

"They wouldn’t have shot the film with us if there was a chemistry problem... whatever chemistry means," he added. "You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn’t have cast us."
