Arctic Monkeys have released details of their first live gig of the year, sending their fans into a tailspin of excitement over their long-awaited return.
The Sheffield rockers, who went on hiatus in 2014, revealed on Twitter that they will headline the Firefly Festival this summer in the US.
They will take to the stage alongside fellow headline acts Eminem, The Killers and Kendrick Lamar at the music event, which runs from June 14-17 in Delaware.

Bassist Nick O’Malley recently hinted that the I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor rockers had reunited to work on a new album, which is expected to be released later this year.
He told motorcycle magazine The Ride that they had met up in September at a “secret location” and had already started recording.
He added that he hoped a new album would be out in 2018, and that “if it isn’t, we’ve got problems”.
Fans of the indie group took to Twitter to share their excitement at the band’s imminent comeback.
