Michael Flatley was joined by his two biggest fans for the opening night of his latest Broadway show.
His wife of nine years Niamh (nee O'Brien) and son Michael Jr (eight) looked proud as punch as they joined the world famous Irish dancer for the launch night of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games in New York City.
Little Michael, who is kept largely out of the spotlight, inherited his parents slick style, opting for a dapper grey suit. Niamh stunned in a semi sheer black bell dress.
It's been a week of celebrations fr the family as he celebrated the renaming of a section of 42nd Street, near Broadway, as 'Flatley Way'.
The renaming was to honour the vast contribution of the dancer to Irish-American culture and to mark the long-awaited opening of his new show on Broadway, 'Lord of the Dance - Dangerous Games'.
The show opened to sell-out audiences at the Lyric Theatre and will run until January 3. The honour is one of the highest that New York can bestow on an artist.
"I am delighted and honoured - for me, opening the show on Broadway is a dream come true," said the Cork-based star. "There is something magical about Broadway. It is a dream for any artist to have a show here," he added.
