Ewan McGregor's ex-wife Eve Mavrakis breaks her silence on their split after 22 years
Ewan McGregor's estranged Eve Mavrakis has broken her silence on their split.
The Scottish actor (46) and French production designer (51) were married for 22 years and in October, pictures of him kissing his Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead were publishing by The Sun. McGregor and Winstead portrayed lovers in the recent third season of the Fargo TV adaptation.
After the pictures were seen, it was reported that McGregor had actually been separated from Mavrakis, since May. The mother-of-four responded to a nasty comment about Winstead on her Instgram page, who said: "I can’t believe Ewan would end things with u for that cheap w**re! U are so much better than him!!!! Take him for every penny u can!!!"
To which Eva responded: "What can I do?"
The pair have four children together - daughters Clara, Esther, Anouk, and little Jamyan, who they adopted from Mongolia.
Meanwhile, Winstead also separated from her husband, writer/director Riley Stearns, in May after almost seven years of marriage, and shared the news with fans in a heartfelt post on Instagram.
"Sitting here with my best friend who I love with all my heart," she captioned a photo of herself kissing Stearns on the cheek. "We have spent our lives together and it has been full of joy and warmth every day.
"We've decided to move on from our marriage, but we will stay best friends and collaborators for all our days. We are still ride or die, just in a different way now. I love you always, Riley."
