Eva Mendes' brother says she and Ryan Gosling are 'great parents'
The 40-year-old gave birth to a little girl last month and the couple have stayed typically low-key since the arrival.
"They're great parents," her brother Juan told In Touch Weekly. "Ryan's going to be a great father. He's just such a down-to-earth, nice guy. You couldn't ask for anything better."
"Of course, I've held the baby," he said. "We went to visit them in the hospital - the whole family was there. We're a very tight, tight family, and Ryan, his family is the same way - very supportive."
The Hollywood couple welcomed a baby girl on Friday, September 12.
And according to E! News Ryan “is infatuated with the baby”, doting on the tot whenever he has the chance.
Eva and Ryan’s mothers “are still in and out” of their home helping with the newborn, “but less so” than when she first gave birth to the tyke.
It’s claimed the pair is becoming more and more comfortable with their new domestic roles.
“Ryan and Eva are getting more confident in doing things themselves,” an insider told the outlet.
The birth process was purportedly overflowing with emotion for the new parents.
And their daughter is said to resemble her mother.
“It was very emotional for Eva and Ryan," the insider shared. "They were both in tears when they saw their daughter for the first time! Everyone is saying the baby looks like Eva and has her features.”
Apparently Ryan is showering Eva with compliments as she recuperates from giving birth.
And the couple are cuter than ever now they’ve become parents.
"All her friends love Ryan and Eva together," the source gushed. "He tells her how sexy and perfect she is all the time... he really is like Noah in The Notebook! It's kind of an inside joke, but he's really romantic. They are both so happy and in love.”
