Etaoin Corr shows off engagement ring following romantic proposal from Kodaline's Jason Boland on stage at Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran's second Croke Park gig was crammed with magic moments but one will stand out for Etaoin Corr.
The girlfriend of Kodaline's bassist Jason Boland was surprised to be brought on stage for a romantic marriage proposal which was introduced by Ed declaring "Jason, you've something to say"
Jason's long-term girlfriend said yes, and the happy couple posed for photos on their way to the after party with Etaoin showing off her brand new sparkler.
Last night Jay tweeted, "So @EtaoinCorr said yes :-) " with a photo of the on-stage proposal.
Kodaline had appeared on stage with Ed on Friday at his first Croke Park gig but last night they were also joined by former The Frames frontman Glen Hansard.
Ed has form when it comes to proposals. Last week he helped Jake Roche propose to little Mix's Jesy nelson at Manchester Arena.
Also, Friday night's Croke Park crowd included at least one other proposal with Belfast's Cathal Shortt proposing to girlfriend Leanne Peoples.
“Thank you to Kodaline and Glen Hansard for joining me on stage today to sing some tunes. And congratulations to Jay, what a way to propose!” Ed tweeted last night.
He had teased fans with a cryptic tweet earlier in the day stating he had "something planned for tonight you won't expect".
It's the second Kodaline proposal this year after Vinny Jay proposed to his girlfriend of eight years in New York.
