Emily Ratajkowski takes the plunge in seriously daring shirt dress in Paris
Emily Ratajkowski has been something of a chameleon during Paris Fashion Week.
The model and actress has been busy embracing some of the biggest parties in the City of Light, which requires an enviable amount of outfit changes. The 26-year-old was among the famous faces at Vogue's PFW party on Sunday, opting for a shirt dress with a seriously plunging neckline and ruffled asymmetric hem, which is a return to her trademark sexy image, in contrast to the more demure options we've seen her in over recent days.
For the Valentino show earlier in the day, she covered up in a crisp white shirt, utility trousers with belt detail and she looked impossibly pretty at the Dior show last week. Despite her high profile, Ratajkowski was notably absent from London and New York fashion weeks (she was instead enjoying some downtime in her second home of Bantry, Co Cork) and made a surprise runway appearance for Bottega Veneta in Milan. So it stands to reason that she has been compensating in Paris, where she is joined by her long-term boyfriend Jeff Magid.
Ratajkowski has been vocal about her experience with body acceptance and recently hit out at a French magazine for claiming they altered her lips and breasts for a recent spread. "Everyone is uniquely beautiful in their own ways," she wrote alongside the two photographs, in which she poses in a black coat and beret. "We all have insecurities about the things that make us different from a typical ideal of beauty.
"I, like so many of us, try every day to work past those insecurities. I was extremely disappointed to see my lips and breasts altered in Photoshop on this cover. I hope the fashion industry will finally learn to stop trying to stifle the things that make us unique and instead begin to celebrate individuality."
