Ed Sheeran spotted enjoying a low-key night at this Dublin bar
After so many visits, Ed Sheeran has the insight on the best spots to hang out in Dublin city.
The Galway Girl singer (26) was in town on Thursday night to pre-record a special for the Late Late Show and made the most of his time in the capital with a visit to one of his favourite bars, The Hacienda near Smithfield. The bar is famously low-key, with customers having to knock before being granted entry, and has attracted A-list fans in Hozier and Saoirse Ronan whenever they're back on our shores.
And Ed is no stranger to the hip surrounds and makes an effort to visit whenever he is in town. He posed for a picture with the bar's owner Shay and they shared the picture on their Facebook page today.
He'll be back again next year for a series of gigs around the country including Dublin, Cork and Galway.
Continuing his ongoing love affair with Ireland, he recently covered The Pogues' classic The Fairytale of New York and joked that he would be "murdered" for it after performing his version on BBC Radio One's Live Lounge.
