As usual, Prince George managed to steal the show among dozens of royals.

While select members of Britain's royal family made their way to Buckingham Palace for Queen Elizabeth's annual Christmas lunch.

The adorable two-year-old was pictured today with his mother Kate Middleton and uncle Prince Harry in the family's Range Rover, showing off a curly new 'do.

He was sitting backseat, believed to be with his sister Princess Charlotte (seven months) while the Duchess of Cambridge sat in the middle.

Prince Harry took the front seat, stepping in for his brother Prince William, who could not attend due to work commitments with the East Anglia ambulance service.

Other royals in attendance were Zara Philips, her husband Mike Tindall and their daughter Mia Grace (one), Princess Eugenie and Sophie Wessex.

The lunch marks one of the few royal traditions the Duke and Duchess will be adhering to this year as they will join the family for Christmas Day mass and then stay in their own home at Amner Hall, Norfolk.

William said he is looking forward to Christmas with his children and said he'd be lucky to get a good night's sleep. "Well, if I get any sleep on Christmas Eve it'll be good, because George will be bouncing around like a rabbit," he told The Big Issue.

"I think George will be extremely bouncy this year because he's suddenly worked out what Christmas is all about. So that will be two children, one who suddenly appreciates Christmas, which could be quite challenging. But I'm looking forward to it.

"It's a very different experience at Christmas, having a family of your own."
