Cowell catty BGT jibe annoys Dixon
Alesha Dixon has revealed that she and Amanda Holden find Simon Cowell incredibly irritating because he keeps saying they are catty towards female Britain's Got Talent contestants.
The singer and BGT judge told the Radio Times that she and fellow judge Amanda regularly found themselves unable to offer pointers to female acts as Simon would accuse them of being jealous.
She said: "We could be giving her really positive critique - and he'd sit there making these cat noises saying that we're catty.
"We feel like we're being constructive but he does it all the time, and he's like, 'Can I get you a saucer with some milk?'."
But Alesha added that Simon was able to hold his own with joker and fourth judge David Walliams.
She said: "Simon's actually a bit of a wind-up as well.
"I said this last year, I never realised how funny he is because actually he comes across quite serious. But he's a bit of a prankster and likes playing jokes on us."
She admitted it was usually down to her and Amanda to make sure the show went on: "Always. It's Amanda and I trying to keep the boys in line."
