Colin Farrell has revealed the unlikely truth behind his relationship status - he hasn't been on a date in four years.
While he might be hailed as one of Ireland's hottest actors, set for a major Hollywood comeback this year, Farrell said his focus is his children.
Colin has two children James (11) and Henry (five).
The 38-year-old Castleknock native told The Sunday Times: "I have not dated for, ooh, four years now. It's just not happening, what with the work, the kids and my life. I know it's not what people expect to hear, but that's the honest truth."
"It's not all about you anymore, which is a relief. It's about a bigger world, and helping them find their place in it."
In a far contrast to his Hollywood wild child days, Farrell is more famous for being a family man than a party animal these days.
The Dubliner opted against taking a role alongside Sasha Baron Cohen in the comedy 'Grimsby' despite being keenly pursued by studio executives and was offered €2.3m for his work.
"He would have had no time at all with his kids and they are the most important thing in the world to him," Farrell's manager Ilene Feldman wrote while the father-of-two was being pursued by the studio in a Sony emails leak.
