Cheryl dazzles in thigh skimming red gown during rare night out in London
Cheryl is picture proof that sometimes a break-up is the biggest impetus for a makeover.
The Fight for This Love singer (25) split with boyfriend of two years Liam Payne in August, and since then has been displaying her better-after-breakup wardrobe during her rare nights out. The mother-of-one chose an asymmetric gown Ulyana Sergeenko gown with a plunging neckline and thigh skimming slit as she made her way through a crowd of photographers at The London Palladium on Monday night.
The former X Factor judge was one of the A-list guests at the We are most Amused and Amazed comedy gala, which raises funds for the Prince's Trust, a British youth charity founded by Prince Charles and of which Cheryl is an ambassador.
In recent years, Cheryl has retreated more and more from public life, choosing to spend her time at her Surrey home and focus on her one-year-old son Bear, making only a handful of appearances and giving even less interviews. But she is reportedly trying to piece her life back together after her split and is taking her time dipping her toe back into the dating pool.
"Bear will always come first for Cheryl, he is the real love of her life, and she needs to make sure she's with a man who will accept that," an insider told heat magazine. "She would never introduce someone to her son straight away and would only do so when she knows they're serious. She'd do it gradually and any man who wants to be with Cheryl will have to get Bear's seal of approval."
Earlier this year, Cheryl was linked to a businessman based in Ireland, but her representative confirmed there was "no truth" to the reports.
She and Liam released nearly identical statements on their Twitter accounts on July 1. Cheryl tweeted that the decision had been "tough" and asked for privacy for their son as they separated.
"We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together," she wrote.
