Can you believe she’s only 20? Thalia Heffernan marks birthday with glitzy bash
One of Ireland’s top models Thalia Heffernan has finally come of age, and as was to be expected, she celebrated in style.
The Dubliner marked the occasion surrounded by friends and family in the VIP Penthouse of Krystle on Harcourt Street.
For the night, the blonde beauty wore a simple plunge neck black dress, which she accessorised with ankle-strap sandals and a black leather jacket.
It’s hard to believe that the model is only 20, as she has been one of the most high profile models in recent years since her days as a 15-year-old secondary school student balancing life on the catwalk with her studies.
The statuesque stunner is signed to the books of Ford Models in New York, Premier Model Management in London and Morgan The Agency in Dublin. Last year she spent three months working in Australia where she appeared in Cosmopolitan and Cleo magazines.
The face of Missguided.com recently revealed that she has a few plans up her sleeve for life after modelling.
“I love my job and I have been doing it for so long now that it is almost second nature to me, but at the same time I like to keep doing things that are rewarding and I think when you are in a job for too long you can kind of lose that,” Thalia told The Herald.
“I do love my job and I work with the best people. I think I’ll continue doing this for as long as possible, but there are other projects that I would like to get involved in too.”
“I am a massive animal lover and there’s a big market in South Africa for modelling and there is quite a lot of game and safaris and stuff,” she added.
She also teased that she might consider pursuing some acting work, like her cousin, the Love/Hate star Aaron Heffernan.
Also celebrating their birthday in Krystle on Saturday night was Carla Jackson, the younger sister of fashion and showbiz blogger Suzanna ‘So Sue Me’ Jackson.
