Caitlyn Jenner reveals stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian hasn't spoken to her for two years
Caitlyn Jenne claims she hasn't spoken to Khloe Kardashian in nearly two years.
The Olympic gold medallist (67) was married to Khloe's mother Kris Jenner for 23 years when she was known as Bruce Jenner before transitioning in 2015.
"She doesn't want to talk to me. She hasn't talked to me in, like, two years," Jenner told Andy Cohen on his Sirius XM radio show.
"That's sad. I was very very close to Khloé, I mean I had 23 years of raising her. I met Khloe when she was 5 years old."
"Of course it hurts. Cause she was on Howard Stern and called me a liar. And that kind of pissed me off too cause I never lied to her, you know, if I didn't tell her everything. First of all, she never asked."
Their rift goes back to hers now-famous Vanity Fair cover in which she introduced the world to Caitlyn and said the reason her marriage with Kris dissolved is because of the "way I was treated" and not her gender identity.
The 2015 article is still a talking point on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Jenner's lack of closeness with her former stepdaughters is a major storyline, in particular with Khloe.
The 31-year-old previously said she struggled to forgive Caitlyn for her comments in the interview and now has elaborated on her upset, saying:
"It's not that I'm angry that Bruce was transitioning to Caitlyn. I didn't appreciate how it was handled and how we found out more in the media than from Cait."
Meanwhile, Caitlyn is promoting her new memoirs The Secrets of My Life in which she discussed her relationship with Khloe.
"Khloé has the hardest time with it. It is something Khloé and I should talk about privately, as we have on many occasions on other sensitive subjects. But we have not, although I have tried. We have not been the same since," Jenner writes.
She also claims to have come up with the idea for KUWTK and said her marriage to Kris Jenner was one of mutual benefit, writing: "I believe, and this is my opinion and my opinion only, we both want something from each other."
In a new clip of the family's reality show, Kris said in a conversation with Kim: "I read it, and basically the only nice thing she had to say was that I was great socially at a party one time."
Kim said it "doesn't make sense" for Caitlyn to downgrade her 23-year marriage.
"None of it makes sense. Everything she says is all made up. Why does everything have to be that Kris is such a bitch and an asshole? I was curious and said, 'What the hell is going on?'
"She said, 'You just would never understand,' and then all through the book it says, 'Kris knew, Kris knew... Kris knew even before I made love to her.' I'm like 'what?'"
"My mum has been putting in so much effort - trying so hard to have a good relationship for their kids together. Caitlyn has every right to feel how she feels, but why bring my mum into it one more time? I just feel so bad for my mum."
When Kris said she never wanted to speak to her ex after learning of the book's contents, Caitlyn said: "She can go write her own book. Maybe that’ll happen, but it wouldn’t be as juicy as mine."
In a separate interview, she added: "My book is honest and it's my story and I'm sorry she feels that way. And I just don't want her to alienate me from my children."
Asked about how her youngest children Kendall (21) and Kylie (19) will cope with the new claims, she said: "I don't know, we'll see how that goes off in the future."
