Business as usual: Vogue Williams beams in first public appearance since Brian McFadden marriage split
Vogue Williams has made her first public appearance just days after announcing her marriage to Brian McFadden is over.
The former Fade Street star turned fashion blogger (29) wed the former Westlife singer (35) in 2012 after a whirlwind romance and the pair announced on Tuesday evening that they will be "Going their separate ways".
And Vogue is keeping it business as usual in the meantime as she jetted to London for the ITV summer part in Notting Hill, indicating she may be lined up for more work at the station in addition to her RTE presenting duties.
The top model will be back in Ireland this weekend to judge the Best Dressed Lady competition at Dundalk Stadium in Co Louth on Sunday and tweeted her excitement at the prospect.
Brian, meanwhile, has been focusing on family and tweeted a photo of his daughter Molly (14) after watching her in a play, saying: "My beautiful Lilly! Chilling at the interval for Molly's school play. Molly rocking it on stage! Proud daddy."
The pair announced their split on Twitter after nearly three years of marriage in a statement saying: "It is with sadness that Brian and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways.
"We will always care greatly about each other, remain friends and we wish each other all the very best for the future.
"We have nothing else to say on the subject and we would like to thank our friends and family for their support during this difficult period."
Friends close to the couple say that it wasn't a surprise, with Louis Walsh explaining that they are "better off" without each other.
"It's always sad when a couple breaks up," he told the Irish Daily Mirror.
"I know both Brian and Vogue very well and I've great time for them both. But to be honest, when a marriage isn't working then it's better to call it quits."
"This hasn't come as a surprise from people who know them."
