Brad Pitt puts on a brave face as he hits the red carpet for Lost City of Z premiere
Brad Pitt made an increasingly rare public appearance at his latest premiere on Wednesday night.
The Oscar-winning actor (53) lost a noticeable amount of weight as he hit the red carpet to promote his latest film Lost City of Z as he continues to battle estranged wife Angelina Jolie in their divorce.
While he has been spotted out and about in Los Angeles since Jolie filed for divorce in September, he has made only a handful of red carpet appearances to promote his last film Allied.
Similarly, Jolie has only recently reemerged from hiding when she visited Cambodia, attended a United Nations meeting in Geneva and most recently, guest lectured at the London School of Economics on Women, Peace and Security, before officially beginning her guest lecture role in October.
It's reported that Pitt is "healthy and much happier" as his split settles down and the pair agreed to settle their divorce privately.
"Things with his family have improved, all is being addressed privately, and it’s serving everyone in the family well," a source told People.
These days, he is focusing on his budding passion - sculpting.
"People close to him are happy that he has found something new to be passionate about."
Also spotted at last night's premiere were stars Sienna Miller, Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattison. Lost City of Z is the movie adaptation of David Grann's 2009 book, which follows British explorer Percy Fawcett (Hunnam) who discovers a previously unknown society in the Amazon in the early 1900s.
